Stress is like a glass of water. If you hold on to it for an hour it will begin to hurt and cause you pain, but if you set it down and let go, the pain goes away. If you hold on the the glass for a day, the pain will turn into numbness and eventually your arm will become weak and useless. If you hold onto the glass of water for a week, your arm will be damaged to the point it will take months to repair. If you hold onto the glass of water for a month, your arm will be damaged beyond repair and no longer function.
